The Town of Cutler Bay’s 17th annual Cutler Bay Open Charity Golf Tournament, which took place on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Redland Golf & Country Club, raised $17,535 for the Cutler Bay Community Fund, which supports various philanthropic programs and services.
Maria Herrera‑Mendoza, events and programs manager for the Department of Parks & Recreation, was pleased with the outcome.
“Another record-breaking year,” Herrera‑Mendoza said. “The Cutler Bay Open Charity Golf Tournament raised $17,535 for the Cutler Bay Community Fund. A huge thank you to this year’s hole-in-one sponsor, Land Rover South Dade, and to everyone who helped make it possible.”
Town Manager Rafael Casals and other town officials were on hand for the awards ceremony and the check presentation.
The winners list for this year’s event are:
First Place: Score 56 — ET Bejarano, Jonathan Brown, Kyle Bronis, Craig Offutt
Second Place: Score 58 — Alan Ricke, Ryan Ricke, Steven Nimer, Jayson De La Cruz
Third Place: Score 58 — Steve Buchanan, Matt Aragon, Mark Rabbage, Wesley Reeder

Longest Drive Contest: Aaron Mackey
