The Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center will present two unforgettable nights of live rock music this summer and fall with Classic Albums Live (CAL).
The world-class concert experiences recreate legendary albums with precision and passion.
Each event features a different classic album performed in its entirety — note for note, cut for cut — by a powerhouse ensemble of professional musicians.
The Moss Center will present Classic Albums Live – U2: The Joshua Tree at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23 With soaring anthems like Where the Streets Have No Name, With or Without You, and I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, The Joshua Tree is a sonic masterpiece. Classic Albums Live honors this generation-defining album with a faithful performance that captures the spirit, energy, and raw emotion of U2’s unforgettable 1987 release.
The note-for-note performances continue with Classic Albums Live – The Eagles: Hotel California on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 8 p.m. Few albums have left a mark like Hotel California. From the Grammy-winning New Kid in Town to deep cuts like Wasted Time and The Last Resort, this show pays homage to The Eagles’ iconic record with reverence and talent. Hear every note of Joe Walsh’s electrifying solos and every lyric of Don Henley’s storytelling as recorded.
Founded by Craig Martin in Toronto, Classic Albums Live brings together world-class musicians to recreate the most celebrated albums in rock history — live on stage with absolute fidelity. The shows are not tributes but instead are reverent performances that honor the music exactly as fans remember it. Earlier this summer, the Moss Center presented Classic Albums Live – Paul McCartney & Wings: Band on the Run, featuring intricate layers and timeless melodies with authenticity and soul.
Classic Album Live is appropriate for ages 13 and older. Tickets for each show are $40 and $65 for VIP. Tickets may be purchased by visiting MossCenter.org, through the Moss Center Box Office in person, or by calling 786-573-5300.
