Coral Reef Senior High School students, organized by the Shapiro-Lopez brothers, joined the recent St. Jude Walk to end childhood cancer at Tamiami Park. Co-team leader Julian is a junior in the International Baccalaureate program and his brother, co-team leader Nicholas, is a freshman in the Medical magnet. This is the second year that the team is organized by the brothers. They brought together students from all the academies, and increased participation and donations by 60 percent raising $1,080.
