County Tax Collector opens 11th office in Coral Reef area
Local officials, community partners, and residents joined the ceremony to celebrate the opening.

The Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector officially opened its 11th Tax Collector Office during a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the Coral Reef area, marking another major step in expanding public access to essential services across Miami-Dade County.

“Today we open a new office that continues our mission of bringing government closer to the people,” said Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Families and businesses in this area will no longer need to travel long distances to renew a license, pay property taxes, or complete other basic transactions. This new location makes everyday services more convenient, more accessible, and closer to home.”

The new Coral Reef Tax Collector Office strengthens Fernandez’s broader countywide effort to modernize service delivery, improve convenience, and ensure residents can access the services they rely on without unnecessary burdens. The office joins a network of 10 existing locations and reflects ongoing investments in practical, efficient, and customer-focused government service.

Local officials, community partners, and residents joined the ceremony to celebrate the opening and learn more about the services available to the public.

“This new location is another step toward better service for everyone in Miami-Dade,” Fernandez added. “Each office we open deepens our connection with the community and ensures government works better for the people it serves.”

Residents now can access a full range of services at the Coral Reef Tax Collector Office, including driver licenses and ID cards, vehicle registrations, property tax payments, and business tax receipts.

Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Office Coral Reef is located at 14653 SW 122 Ave., Miami, FL 33186. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. To make an appointment, visit mdctaxcollector.gov.
