The Cutler Ridge Woman’s Club of Cutler Bay, a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, conducted the final meeting of its fiscal year on May 23 to wrap up old business and recognize longstanding members of the club.
“The meeting was called to order, historian Annetta Schildbach read her 2022 to 2023 report and a new budget was read and passed by the membership,” said CRWC president Jean Tong-Noon.
Also attending the meeting were VIP guests Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, club District 11 director Virginia Yermoli and representatives from District 8 Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins office, as well as members of the Cutler Bay Policing Unit.
Women who had been members of the club for a long time were honored with special pins to mark the occasion. Five-year membership pins were awarded by Yermoli, and Mayor Levine Cava awarded the 10- and 15-year pins. In all, 19 members received their longevity pins.
