The hot weather this summer has put a crimp in many activities, but it hasn’t stopped the Cutler Ridge Woman’s Club (CRWC) from meeting, although the members are not meeting quite as often.
CRWC president Jean Tong-Noon explained the change.
“We are on summer break now with just two luncheon get-togethers a month,” Tong-Noon said. “We’ve been supporting our local restaurants. We just had 17 members and friends meet at Golden Rule Seafood and a few weeks ago 20 of us met at Bulla Gastrobar in the Falls. Our next Friends luncheon will be held at East Ridge at Cutler Bay.”
Club members will meet in the auditorium of East Ridge on Tuesday, July 25, at 11:30 a.m. Friends are welcome. East Ridge is located at 19301 SW 87 Ave. in Cutler Bay. Members and friends are invited to bring a dish to share, and if they want to help decorate, to come at 10:30 a.m. and join the group.
For information on upcoming meetings contact Janet at 305-33O-9929 or Jean at 305-742-3333.
