Dr. Yenile Pinto graduated first in her class from Monsignor Edward Pace High School in Miami Gardens and subsequently attended the University of Miami on a full academic scholarship, graduating cum laude in only three years with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry.
She then enrolled in New York University Dental School on academic scholarship. Returning to Miami, she worked for several practices while honing her craft until March, when she and her husband, Peter, opened Deering Dental. She currently sits on the board of the Riviera Dental Club as secretary and belongs to the American Dental Association, Miami-Dade Dental Society and Florida Dental Association.
Deering Dental is currently raising funds for Manny Alvarez, a family friend, who was recently diagnosed with Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma (ASPS), a rare and aggressive form of cancer. With his insurance refusing to pay for treatment, Alvarez’s family is paying out of pocket. The Pintos have donated 2 percent of their July profits to his care.
