Elixir of Life augmented reality game launch set at Homestead Cybrarium

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Get ready for an enchanting evening of exploration and entertainment at the highly anticipated launch event for the Elixir of Life augmented reality game, taking place on Thursday, Jan. 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cybrarium, 80 W. Mowry Dr. in Homestead.

Hosted by the City of Homestead in collaboration with Cybrarium and Before It’s Too Late (BITL), the launch event promises an exclusive firsthand experience of this innovative augmented reality game set within the captivating walls of the Cybrarium Library.

The Elixir of Life AR game is designed to transport players into an immersive world where they will embark on a thrilling quest through two distinct realms — the untamed Everglades and the cosmic wonders of Astro-Odyssey. As participants navigate the library’s landscape, they will uncover hidden 3D-generated characters, solve challenging riddles, and gather the missing ingredients necessary to concoct the elusive “Elixir of Life.”

This groundbreaking app was developed by the Miami-based nonprofit artist collective, Before It’s Too Late (BITL), in collaboration with the City of Homestead. Supported by the city and hosted at the Cybrarium, this partnership aims to blend technology, storytelling, and community engagement in a unique and captivating gaming experience.
