Southland Mall is kicking off another month of live entertainment to bring families and loved ones together in the spirit of Valentine’s Day.
From Mariachis to Belly Dancers, each event includes an interactive element to encourage active participation from the audience. “Festive Fridays” take place every week inside the mall’s Center Court from 6 to 8 p.m.
Events for the month of February include:
Feb. 7 — Join the “LA Style Salsa Dancers” from “A Party Hall” as they demonstrate their newest salsa dance moves and offer mini salsa classes throughout the evening for shoppers of all ages.
Feb. 14 — “Mariachi Voces de America” will perform a special serenade on Valentine’s Day by singing popular Spanish love songs. Song requests are welcomed!
Feb, 21 — Miami Arts Charter School will be opening a new location in Homestead so the school will be showcasing its choir and band programs during the event.
Feb. 28 — Performers from “Bellydancing by Shayna” will be presenting their latest belly dancing routines.
“Festive Fridays” are free events that are open to the public at Southland Mall, conveniently located at S. Dixie Highway (US1) and SW 205th Street, off Florida’s Turnpike, Exits 11 or 12.
