The Gulliver Prep boys and girls teams recaptured the 2A state tennis championships that eluded them last year. This championship gives Gulliver its seventh girls tennis title overall and gives the boys team its 10th tennis title overall.

In addition to winning the state title, the Lady Raiders finished their season undefeated with a record of 18-0. Top players for the girls team were Julieta Dalmau, Class of 2016; Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico, 2017; Estefania Navarro, 2016; Lindy Lyons, 2017, and Tatiana Ramirez, 2016.

The boys finished their season with an impressive record of 16-2. Top players for the Raiders boys team were Andre Libnic, 2017; Nico Ramirez, 2018; Christian Otero, 2018; Maxim Krapivin, 2018, and Ryan Hellinger, 2018.

“I am so proud of both teams. They shifted into another gear when they saw that the championship was within reach,” said Gulliver tennis coach Kelly Mulligan. “I am very, very happy with both teams.”
