With basketball season warming up, AmericanAirlines Arena decided to add some Cuban flavor to the venue.
The home of the Miami Heat is serving Sergio’s Cuban. The Miami-based restaurant chain is ready to serve up its Cuban staples to Miami’s sport and concert lovers.
The arena couldn’t be more excited for Sergio’s arrival. The deal closed recently, so Sergio’s fast-casual concept will be serving delicious Cuban cuisine starting Oct. 11 in time for the Miami Heat’s first preseason home game this season.
Carlos Gazitua, CEO of Sergio’s Restaurant, is looking forward to serve Miami Heat fans Cuban comfort food.
“It’s an honor to open up shop at the home of Miami Heat,” Gazitua said. “Event goers are going to love our homemade empanadas, croquetas, Cuban bowls, pan con bistec, and our award winning Cuban sandwich.”
Sergio’s fast casual concept definitely will catch the eyes of Miami Heat fans. The stand is taking over the Latin Flavors Zone on the first floor of AmericanAirlines Arena.
