Homestead is gearing up for an exciting new event that will honor our nation’s heroes and provide an evening of entertainment and celebration for the whole community. The inaugural Veteran’s Day Celebration is set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Losner Park, 104 N. Krome Ave., from 5 to 9 p.m.
This event promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring spectacular performances and a special presentation by the South Florida Youth Symphony, showcasing members musical talent in tribute to veterans. Attendees of all ages will have the opportunity to enjoy a range of activities, delicious food, and support local vendors at the vendor village.
The Veteran’s Day Celebration is a family-friendly event, with activities and entertainment for all. Food enthusiasts can indulge in delectable treats from a variety of food trucks offering diverse cuisines. In addition, military members will receive special discounts at the food trucks as a token of appreciation for their service.
Furthermore, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) will be present at the event, offering a selection of beer and wine. This not only adds to the celebration but also serves as a fundraiser to support their noble causes.
The Veteran’s Day Celebration is open free to the public, ensuring accessibility for everyone. The event is hosted in partnership with Kiwanis International, Tourism Advisory Committee, and the Cybrarium. Mark your calendars and don’t miss out on this remarkable event.
