Florida State Rep. Kevin Chambliss (District 117), a member of the House State Affairs Committee and co-chair of the Florida Chapter of Future Caucus, will be the keynote speaker at the 10th annual Three Virtues Fundraising Gala, Oct. 30, at The Palace Gardens, 3100 Campbell Dr. in Homestead.
The event, which features music, dinner, recognition and silent auction, begins at 5:30 p.m.
“Three Virtues is an incredible organization that helps families in the Homestead/South Dade area,” said Chambliss, vice chair of the Miami-Dade Legislative Delegation. “Ranging from their food pantry and after school program to their summer camp and social services,
Three Virtues touches — and helps — children and families in a variety of ways and deserves the support of the community.”
Cost of the fundraising gala is $125 per person and $1,250 per table. Various levels of sponsorship are available.
“As the economy slows down, more and more people here in South Dade need our services,” Three Virtues executive director Alpha H. Fleurimond said, noting that the organization’s food pantry alone provides food and hygiene products to nearly 150 families monthly. “Now, more than ever, we’re counting on the community.”
To purchase tickets to the gala, RSVP to threevirtues@yahoo.com or phone 786-231-7005.
