MDFR conducts its final Recruitment Open House

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) is hiring firefighters, a rare opportunity that comes only once every three years, and applications for the position closed on Aug. 11.

Prior to the closing, a final Recruitment Open House took place on Saturday, Aug. 9, at Station 34, 10850 SW 211 St. in Cutler Bay. This hands-on event offered an inside look at the fire service, including:
• Meeting working firefighters and the recruitment team;
• Touring the fire station;
• Trying hands-on activities and equipment demos, and
• Learning about the application and hiring process. as potential applicants.
