We’ve gotten to know Tim Meerbott over the years and we believe he is Cutler Bay’s best choice for Mayor.
Some of the highlights of his commitment to the town include participating in its charter committee in 2014 and 2018. He was also a Town Business Liaison from 2006-2010 and was also South Dade Municipal Coalition Chairman.
He has brought his training to the town, which has benefited from his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Florida International University and his experience in the private sector as Senior Division Manager for Allstate Corporation—where he has worked for over 30 years. That type of commitment is a sign of his character and dedication, something that Cutler Bay needs.
Tim Meerbott’s roots in the community are also a value to the town. Not only did he grow up in Cutler Bay, but he brought up his two sons, Lance and Kyle, now in their 20s, in Cutler Bay. He is motivated to keep the town safe and secure and works hard every day to make it that.
Tim Meerbott is also the only candidate running for Mayor with town council experience, which is an important skill set. He was the first town councilman sworn into office and spent four years working with the staff to establish the town.
We need Mayor Tim Meerbott to lead us through the $1 billion renovation and redevelopment of Southland Mall.
