‘Out of This World’ concert at the Moss center, Apr. 7

Get ready for an “Out of This World” concert with music by the Alhambra Orchestra conducted by Daniel Andai and science content presented by The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. Launch is Sunday, Apr. 7, 4 p.m., at the Dennis C. Moss Center, 10950 SW 211 St. in Cutler Bay.

“Out of This World” is a 75-minute free performance of exciting space-themed symphonic music accompanied by fabulous images of the universe with the moon, stars and planets on a screen behind the orchestra. Get the lowdown on how to watch the upcoming solar eclipse and celebrate the human journey into space with music from Star Wars, The Planets, Star Trek, Apollo 13, and more. There will be exhibits and activities for young scientists outside the concert hall.

Admission is free, but tickets are required. To be sure you and your family will have seats, it’s best to get your tickets in advance. Tickets are available at www.mosscenter.org. The box office phone number is 786-573-5300.
