A popular annual event in Cutler Bay will take place again at Cornerstone Church. Previously called the “Fall Fest,” the get-together this time has a new name, “November Fest.”
Miriam Bigenho, who has been organizing the event for many years now, is excited about the festival taking place on Nov. 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“There will be a delicious chicken dinner consisting of chicken, baked beans, corn on the cob and a drink of your choice,” Bigenho said. “You can either eat on the premises or take it home to enjoy. This dinner will be served between 11 a.m. and 3: p.m. Also on the food menu will be a hotdog lunch with chips, Frito pies and cinnamon roll waffles.”
There also will be a homemade baked goods booth and a variety of sodas and water available.
The annual event features clothing, jewelry, art and various craft items and other things available for sale. A deejay will be present to provide music throughout the entire day, and for the children to enjoy there will be a Super Slide, an Obstacle Course and a variety of games to play.
Cornerstone Church is located at 20740 Old Cutler Rd. (at the intersection of Marlin Road and Old Cutler Road). If you would like to be a vendor, call Miriam at 305-233-7457 as soon as possible as spaces are very limited.
