Flag football is returning to the town of Cutler Bay and registration is now open for the winter 2024 season. The Cutler Bay RISE Flag Football season runs from January through February with games taking place on Fridays at Lakes by the Bay Park.
Alan Hughes, parks operations administrator, is pleased with the program and its popularity.
“The town’s partnership with the Under Armour RISE Flag Football League has been very fruitful,” Hughes said. “It has given another recreational outlet to the youth in the community. It is run by Carson Kaleo and he has organized the Flag Football ‘Friday Night Lights’ at Lakes by the Bay Park.
“Carson has a group of dedicated volunteer coaches who have helped create a positive environment for the kids in the program. It has grown each season as each season has become bigger than the one prior. The Town strives to be a great place for people ‘to live, work and play.’ I think this league aligns with that vision and we look forward to its continual growth and participation with the families and youth we have here in Cutler Bay.”
Each registered player receives an Under Armour game shirt and shorts with the registration fee. To register go to https://app.teamlinkt.com/register/find/uarise-miamifl.
