The Miami-Dade School Board recently recognized Miami Southridge Senior High School’s football team and head coach William “Billy” Rolle for winning the 2016 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 8A State Championship. On Dec. 10, the Southridge Spartans defeated the Dr. Phillips Panthers, 14-10, to win the championship.
