A special presentation of music, dance and cultural experiences at Southland Mall!
Southland Mall kicks off the fall season of their ongoing “Festive Friday” event series to showcase the talents of local musicians, dancers and artists. Every Friday evening, shoppers will be able to enjoy live entertainment and interactive activities alongside their family and friends by visiting the “Festive Friday” stage located in the mall’s Center Court from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Below is a list of events for the month:
- November 6th – Raquel Torrent presents an exclusive “Art & Juice” workshop. Put on your aprons and get ready to paint a masterpiece! By following Torrent’s easy-to-follow instructions, children will paint their own Thanksgiving themed piece of artwork.
- November 13th – Join the Montessori School as they present their student rock bands ranging from K to 6th grade. Bands like “The Cats,” “Diamond Blue,” “The Avengers” and “Paulina & The Rockers” will be sure to make you want to groove!
- November 20th – The talented dancers from Huney Shine Dance Studio will visit Southland Mall to present a special jazz and hip hop dance performance.
- November 27th – Performers from Hipnotic Dance Studio will showcase their best belly dancing moves. Shayna Lee, International Belly Dancer and CEO of Hipnotic Dance Studio, will grace the stage and show the audience how to shake their hips like a pro!
“Festive Fridays” are free events that are open to the public. Southland Mall is conveniently located on U.S. 1 and S.W. 205th Street, off the Florida Turnpike, Exits 11 or 12.
