Spectacular weekend at SMDCAC to feature Beatlemania, Burlesque
Cabaret Follies offers a colorful variety of acts including can-can dancers, comedy, and a touch of sophisticated burlesque.

South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center, 10950 SW 211 St. in Cutler Bay, presents two shows as part of its Cabaret Series, Beatlemania performed by John Daversa and the UM Frost School of Music Concert Jazz Band on Friday, Mar. 27, at 8:30 p.m., and Cabaret Follies on Saturday, Mar. 28, at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 day of show and can be purchased online at SMDCAC.org or by calling 786-573-5300.

Enjoy an evening of your favorite Beatles songs performed by the award winning Frost Concert Jazz Band and directed by trumpeter John Daversa. And on the same weekend, enjoy Cabaret Follies, a colorful variety of acts including can-can dancers, comedy, and a touch of sophisticated burlesque. This dynamite show dazzles with its stunning costumes, elaborate choreography and sultry performances that embody the authentic French cabaret experience.

The Cabaret Series takes place in the intimate Black Box Theater space which seats up to 130 people. The series includes jazz, string groups, flamenco, comedy, burlesque, jazz, Broadway show tunes and soulful singers. The lounge setting has table seating, food, drinks and a relaxed atmosphere.
