School is out officially for the summer and families are heading to The Falls, 8888 SW 136 St., for shopping and summer activities. Area residents and visitors are invited to celebrate the hot summer months with fun events and activities at the mall.
Regal Cinemas 12 offers families the ultimate way to stretch their entertainment dollars with the Summer Movie Express, taking place every Tuesday and Wednesday through Aug. 15. Attendees can enjoy family–friendly films rated G or PG at the theater at 10 a.m. for just $1. Movies featured during the Summer Movie Express include Despicable Me, The Lego Movie, Sing, The Secret Life of Pets, Paddington 2 and more.
The fun continues with Toddler Tuesdays. Every Tuesday, children and their parents can enjoy discounts from participating retailers and kids eat free at select restaurants. In addition, kids and their parents are invited to partake in fun and free events every third Tuesday of the month. Visit Simon Guest Services to register, receive your Very Important Tot “VIT” card, and obtain a list of participating stores and restaurants.
Ticket packages for the Summer Movie Express can be purchased in advance through the box office. Individual tickets can be purchased before the show for $1 per person, per movie.
Toddler Tuesday events are open free to the public. Events will take place inside the store listed.
