Town’s ‘Splash in the Bay’ event to return in August

The Town of Cutler Bay’s popular summertime event, “Splash in the Bay,” will return on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Cutler Ridge Park and Pool.

The event features free swimming in the pool, a mega water slide, water inflatables, music by DJ Ivan, activities for children and a blood drive. There also will be a backpack giveaway as a head start for returning to school on Aug. 14.

“Our sponsors, Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins, District 9 School Board Member Luisa Santos, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Florida Technical College will be giving away backpacks while supplies last,” said Rod Gibson, Cutler Bay’s communication manager.
“Say goodbye to summer with a splash.Don’t miss out on this fun-filled event for the whole family.”
