More than 300 cars completed approximately 3,000 laps during Homestead-Miami Speedway’s annual “Give Back at the Track” charity event on Aug. 17. The event featured local car clubs who drove exotic and vintage cars such as classic Ford Mustangs, Dodge Vipers and Volkswagens from the 1960s and ’70s. The event raised money for the Speedway’s charitable arm, Driving for a Cause, which makes an impact in the community by raising funds to support education and youth development programs and initiatives in South Florida. The track will host a second Give Back at the Track on Saturday, Sept. 21.
