Miami Dade College to host Spring Open House events

Get the scoop on hundreds of educational and career training opportunities available at Miami Dade College’s (MDC) eight campuses and outreach centers during the Spring Open House events at various locations. The events are open free to public.

Attendees can learn about in-demand careers in aviation, animation, computers and Web development, culinary arts, engineering, healthcare, hospitality and tourism, paralegal studies, technology, and more. Students and parents can tour campus facilities; attend sessions on financial aid, scholarships and admissions, and much more.

Each MDC campus will award a scholarship for in-state tuition, books and/or fees.

Following is the remaining Spring Open House schedule:
Wednesday, Feb. 21, 5:30-7 p.m., Homestead Campus, Building F, Room 222, 500 College Terr.;
Saturday, Mar. 10, 9 a.m.-noon., Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center, Main Building, 6300 NW Seventh Ave.;
Saturday, Mar. 17, 9 a.m.-noon, Kendall Campus Gymnasium, 11011 SW 104 St., and Thursday, May 3, 3:30-5:30 p.m., InterAmerican Campus, Flag Courtyard, 627 SW 27th Ave.
