Ron Magill of Zoo Miami poses with students during the Miami Youth Climate Summit at FIU on Mar. 9. Magill, a wildlife expert and photographer whose work has won five Emmy Awards, was a keynote speaker at the event hosted by Gulliver’s Field Studies Program. This initiative attracted nearly 100 students and teachers from multiple area schools to set the framework for collaboration among today’s youth to learn about and discuss important issues surrounding climate change.
