Ride2Revive welcomed more than 100 children battling life-threatening diseases on Sunday, Jan. 27, to enjoy an unforgettable adrenaline-filled afternoon at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The children were driven around the championship racetrack, buckled into exotic supercars, for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, feeling the same exhilaration of a professional race car driver. In addition to their thrilling laps around the track, the mayor of Homestead and the Homestead Police Department were on site with their emergency vehicles for the children to explore, along with a performance from their K-9 Unit and a special Lamborghini Homestead Police Car. Throughout the afternoon, other activities included face painting, balloon art, characters, fun-filled photo booth and a racing simulator.

The children got the opportunity to draw on a Lamborghini HURACAN and experience “interactive art” from world renowned artist Romero Britto with a BRITTO Lamborghini.

Ride2Revive benefitted children from various hospitals and organizations that include Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Holtz Children’s Hospital, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Chai Lifeline and Mystic Force Foundation, offering a distraction from their health-related struggles and maintaining its mission to provide “Miles of Smiles on the Road to Recovery.”

Brett and Brooke David, siblings and owners of Prestige Imports, founded Ride2Revive in 2011. Fulfilling a dream to share their world of exotic automobiles, this unique and altruistic organization provides unforgettable and adrenaline-filled experiences created for children facing critical illnesses. Ride2Revive focuses on revitalizing the children’s senses, while instilling hope and positivity, both proven to increase the chances of recovery.Ride2Revive Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
