It’s official! Discovering the splendor of Broward County’s magnificent waterways is now easier than ever before for visitors and residents alike, as the Water Taxi and Pompano Beach officials gathered at Dockswell Dock in Pompano Beach to celebrate the official launch with a jubilant ribbon cutting.
Up and down the scenic Intracoastal Waterway, the recognizable yellow vessels connect guests from Hollywood to Lighthouse Point with a unique experience highlighting Broward County’s waterfront entertainment, dining, shopping and natural beauty. A great way to experience the thrill of the recreational boating lifestyle without the hassle or the expense.
“We are thrilled to bring the Water Taxi to Pompano Beach, with its exciting waterfront development, and introduce residents and visitors alike to the thrill of spending time on the water,” said Water Taxi CEO Bill Walker. “We offer an array of options for enjoying your time on the Water Taxi and are committed to delivering a great experience at a reasonable price.”
Cruises run from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, except for Christmas and the day of the boat parade.
Ticket prices range from $15 to $30 for adults. Seniors 65+ and active military daily passes for $25, resident multi-day passes for $80 and resident annual passes for $250.
