Palmetto General Hospital partnered with the City of Hialeah Fire Department for a mass casualty drill. The scenario was an airplane disaster at the airport. Several employees from Palmetto General Hospital participated in the drill including the hazmat and decon departments. Members of the newly formed Hospital Emergency Response Team also particpated in the drill. This newly formed team will only be activated during certain emergencies.
