HB 385 and SB 898 will replace MDX and usher in a new entity that will bring toll rate reduction, responsibly maintain local control, and restore the public’s trust & confidence. This new agency must be responsive to the commuters and residents of Miami-Dade County. I encourage Governor DeSantis to sign the bill into law so that our county can provide better transportation options, alleviate traffic congestion, and relief from excessive tolls. We all need to continue working together to improve mobility and transportation in our community.”
