The City of Doral continues a partnershipbegun last summer with E-Scrap, Inc. begun last summer with E-Scrap, Inc. to dispose of electronics through recycling, both during and after the holidays.
The program provides both residents and businesses the opportunity to recycle old electronics, TVs, computers, monitors, notebooks, audio/video systems, printers, cells and land phones. All old electronic equipment is welcomed!
Also disposable: main frame systems, PDAs, spent fluorescent lamps, ballasts, commercial and industrial batteries, and mercury bearing devices, copiers, hospital and bio medical electronics.
The objective is to recycle as much as possible to prevent recyclables from ending up in landfills as a continuing contribution to the city’s Waste Wise Program.
Residents and businesses are invited to drop off old electronics on the second Wednesday and fourth Saturday of each month from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at the drop-off location in JC Bermudez Park, 3000 N.W. 87th Ave.
