Baptist Health South Florida celebrated the grand opening of its newest facility, Baptist Health Hospital, in Doral. Hosted by Nancy Batista-Rodriguez – Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Outpatient Services – alongside other Baptist Health executives and community leaders, the ribbon-cutting event signified the organization’s longstanding commitment to providing high-quality health and wellness services to the Doral community.
With the completion of the new, 43,000 square-foot facility, Baptist Health Hospital features 24/7 emergency care; various treatment and operating rooms; 15 private inpatient beds; an innovative da Vinci surgical system; and an inpatient pharmacy, amongst other impressive offerings.
“Today marks an important day for both Baptist Health and the community. Not only are we celebrating the completion of a new hospital, but we’re also recognizing the undeniable growth of the city of Doral,” said Nancy Batista-Rodriguez, Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Outpatient Services. “By opening Baptist Health Hospital, we’re able to provide even more members of the community with the trusted care that they have grown to expect from the Baptist Health brand, and we look forward to serving our patients.”
On-site at the event, Baptist Health team members, city officials and other members of the community gathered to honor the past and future of Doral and take a first-look at the brand new facility. To maintain the safety of all involved, the celebration was also live streamed via Zoom and Facebook Live.
The completion of Baptist Health Hospital comes three decades after the organization first planted roots in the City of Doral, and one year after the organization unveiled various offerings in the fast-growing Downtown Doral neighborhood: cardiology, orthopedics, primary care, spine care, urgent care and other ancillary services.
Baptist Health Hospital will open for patients on November 8, 2021 and is located just off the Palmetto 826 highway at 9500 NW 58 Street. For more information, please visit BaptistHealth.net/Doral.
