Butch Davis returns to South Florida and to the college football sidelines as the new head coach of the FIU football program. On Aug. 25, Coach Davis and his coaching staff will be the guests of Honor at the 3rd Annual FIU Kickoff Breakfast, to be held at the Riviera Country Club, Coral Gables, Florida. The breakfast is again hosted by FIU President, Council Members, Howard Spiegel, and Juan Del Busto.
Breakfast guests will have the opportunity to meet Coach Davis and his coaching assistants, learn about his return to South Florida, and the upcoming FIU football season, as well as his prescriptions for FIU to become a program that can earn national distinction.
Breakfast is $50 per person with net proceeds going to support academic services for FIU student athletes. Registration begins at 7 a.m., breakfast is at 7:30 a.m., and the program follows. Reservation may be can be made at give.fiu.edu/coaches/.
