Dade County Federal Credit Union (DCFCU) is proud to announce that it has been recognized by Councilwoman Maureen Porras of the City of Doral for its ongoing commitment to promoting community health. DCFCU has received a proclamation for its dedication to offering free fitness classes and hosting inclusive events at its Main Branch.
“We are honored to be recognized by Councilwoman Porras and the City of Doral for our commitment to community health,” said Federica Chalumeau, Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations at DCFCU. “At DCFCU, we believe in fostering a healthy and active environment for our members and the community. These initiatives are just one of the ways we’re working to make that vision a reality.”
DCFCU offers a variety of free fitness classes at its Main Branch, including Zumba every other Wednesday at 7:00 PM and a Walk and Run Club every week at 6:00 PM. In addition, the credit union has hosted several special events throughout the year, such as an inclusive walk for Autism Awareness in August and a Walk and Run event supporting Animal Services and pet adoptions. These events have helped foster a sense of community and provided residents with opportunities to participate in healthy activities.
DCFCU is proud to partner with local organizations like FIU to support these initiatives. The credit union remains committed to making a positive impact on the community and believes everyone deserves access to resources that promote health and well-being.
Free and Open to the Public
