Beginning with a cocktail reception and silent auction, the Gala program was followed by dinner, a live auction and dancing as Academy parents, donors, and supporters mingled and bid on items.

“It was a wonderful evening and we thank everyone involved: donors, parents, staff, and community supporters,” said commented Ginger Poulos, Director of Advancement.

“While fundraising was one of our goals, the most important aspect of the evening was taking time to celebrate and enjoy the blessings that God has showered on this school family and our community.”

As a campus cornerstone, the new center will provide theater seating for 723, state-¬of-¬the-¬art staging and professional sound and lighting equipment for chapel services, recitals, concerts, drama productions, and church services.

“The Center gives the school the space it needs to expand its music and drama department, as well as space for families to meet for special events and worship,” Poulos added.

“Divine Savior Academy exists because of the generous gifts of donors who gave to purchase land and construct our buildings, noted Pastor Carlos Leyrer, Divine Savior Superintendent.“While tuition covers the cost of our operating expenses, it does not fund building projects or expansions.

“The generous support of our donors has made our campus grow and will continue to give the gift of an excellent education to students for years to come. We are so excited for the future and for the opportunities this new space will bring our entire community.”
