Doral city government celebrates Brazil’s rich culture and diversity with the Doral Hearts Brazil, Sept. 7, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Doral Government Center, 8401 NW 53 Terrace.
A festive reception and art exhibit will proudly honor Brazil’s Independence Anniversary of 196 years and has been selected to be included as part of the 2018 Cultural Season of the Consulate General of Brazil of Miami, “A Journey Through Brazilian Experiences.”
This cultural collaboration, now in its second year, was unanimously approved by Doral’s mayor and council. The event is free and open to the public, and features delicious Brazilian hors d’oeuvres, music, and more.
Reminding us of the value of living in harmony with our precious natural resources, there will be no shortage of colorful Brazilian culture on this night, with art from award-winning Brazilian artists of South Florida, working in sculpture, painting, and photography:

The art exhibit, curated by Christopher Barake, will be on display for the public to experience on the first floor of the Doral Government Center, weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., until Sept. 14.
