The City of Doral is excited to announce its upcoming Council Swearing-In Ceremony and State of the City Address. This momentous event will take place on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Event begins at 6:30 p.m., with a reception to immediately follow the address.
The evening will begin with the swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected and re-elected City Councilmembers – Mayor Christi Fraga, Councilman Rafael Pineyro and Councilmember for Seat 3 (decided during December 10th runoff election).
Following the swearing-in ceremony, Mayor Christi Fraga will deliver the 2024 State of the City Address. The address will highlight the City’s significant accomplishments over the past year, including:
- Expanded Parks and Recreation: New parks, enhanced recreational facilities, and expanded programming.
- Enhanced Public Safety: Investments in public safety initiatives to ensure a secure community.
- Infrastructure Improvements: Key infrastructure projects to improve the city’s infrastructure.
- Lowest Millage Rate: Doral’s commitment to fiscal responsibility.

Ceremonia de Juramentación del Consejo de Doral y Discurso Sobre el Estado de la Ciudad 2024
La Ciudad de Doral se complace en anunciar su próxima Ceremonia de Juramentación del Consejo y su Discurso sobre el Estado de la Ciudad. Este evento tendrá lugar el martes 17 de diciembre de 2024. El evento comienza a las 6:30 p. m., con una recepción que seguirá inmediatamente al discurso.
El evento comenzará con la ceremonia de juramento de los concejales recién elegidos y reelegidos: la Alcaldesa Christi Fraga, el Concejal Rafael Pineyro y el Concejal para el Escaño 3 (decidido durante la segunda vuelta de las elecciones del 10 de diciembre).
Luego de la ceremonia de juramento, la Alcaldesa Christi Fraga pronunciará el discurso sobre el estado de la ciudad 2024. El discurso destacará los logros importantes de la ciudad durante el año pasado, que incluyen:
- Parques y recreación ampliados: nuevos parques, instalaciones recreativas mejoradas y programación ampliada.
- Seguridad pública mejorada: inversiones en iniciativas de seguridad pública para garantizar una comunidad segura.
- Mejoras de infraestructura: Proyectos de infraestructura clave para mejorar la ciudad.
- Tasa de millaje más baja: el compromiso de Doral con la responsabilidad fiscal.
