Downtown Doral Charter Elementary School (DDCES) now boasts the globally-recognized AdvancED Accreditation by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).
“At DDCES, our main focus is student success and our team of educators work diligently on ensuring we do just that,” said Jeannette Acevedo-Isenberg, head of school at Downtown Doral Charter Elementary School.
“This national recognition further validates our efforts, and earning the accreditation is a great honor for our school.”
NCA CASI provides nationally-recognized accreditation to encourage continuous school improvement focused on increasing student performance. To earn accreditation, schools must meet NCA CASI’s high standards, be evaluated by a team of professionals and implement a process of ongoing school improvements.

The educational offerings are growing at Downtown Doral as Downtown Doral Charter Upper School (DDCUS), for grades 6-12, is under construction and expected to open for the 2019-2020 school year.
