The time has arrived, the 4th quarter of the year – and it certainly seems 2018 is flying by faster than a blink of the eye.
It was just yesterday that we opened the year with fire in our belly, ready to have the most spectacular year ever. We were ready to finally achieve everything we’ve always wanted to achieve. And many of us are on our way to doing just that. However, others are falling short, so far. The operative word is “so far!”
Regardless of how things have turned out to this point, we have a golden opportunity to make this year the very best one yet. Yes, opportunities are waiting for us. They may not be so obvious, but they do exist. Our job is simply to make up our minds to do it – and by refusing to throw in the towel or give up. Make it a priority to arrive at your pre-determined destination, “Your Goals,” and do whatever is necessary to get there. Failure is not an option!
The question, how? There are many reasons and distractions that have derailed us from our path, but whatever they may be, it is not important. What’s imperative is that we fall back on track. The 4th quarter provides us the ticket to get back on our train to success.
But in order for you to claim your ticket, you must do the following 3 things:
1 – Re-visit your annual goals and select the three most important ones to pursue.
2 – Create your action plan; and
3 – Implement immediately.
Taking action steps is the thrust that will pull you forward. Don’t wait for things to happen. If you stay in the “waiting room of life,” you’ll definitely miss getting on board the train. So get up, start knocking on doors, and demand to be seen and heard. This is best done by getting yourself out into the business community and by networking with the right people and organization.
