FRIDAY: Hialeah Principal Honored as One of Top Six in Florida

Hialeah, Fla. – Florida TaxWatch will be joined by several state lawmakers to honor Mater Academy Charter School Principal Judith Marty as one of six recipients of the 2015 Florida TaxWatch Principal Leadership Awards. The 3rd annual program honors the top principals in the state for their exceptional leadership skills, which resulted in outstanding learning gains for their students.

WHAT: Recognition of Mater Academy Charter School Principal as top 6 in Florida for students’ learning gains.
Enter the school from 103 St. and follow the parking lot to the front office building (next to the roundabout). Park in any empty space. Upon arrival, check-in to the front office. Please bring your driver’s license. Staff will direct you to the lecture hall/auditorium.
In addition to speakers, teachers and students will be available for media interviews following the news conference. Students will also perform a short song following the event.
