One of South Florida’s leading real estate developers, Shoma Group celebrated the grand opening of CityPlace Doral last month featuring an official ribbon cutting ceremony with elected officials of Miami-Dade County and the City of Doral joined by Shoma Group President Masoud Shojaee and Jorge Perez of Related.
More than 2,000 guests were in attendance March 17 to celebrate the newly constructed upscale residential, shopping, entertainment center and to experience the development’s amenities firsthand.
“We couldn’t be happier with the success of CityPlace Doral’s public opening, showcasing and celebrating the elaborate effort that was made to develop this significant project,” Shojaee said. “Seeing the positive reactions and excitement of local officials and residents demonstrates how important this development is to the community and the substantial impact it will have.”
Guests also enjoyed a unique tasting event of the new development’s restaurants including Angelo Elia Pizza Bar & Tapas, Brimstone Woodfire Grill, and Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern. A lively performance by the Gipsy Kings followed the ribbon cutting ceremony.
The party continued through the weekend, on Saturday with special hosts Enrique Santos and DJ X-treme from Tu 94.9 FM, a meet-and-greet with Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, a live musical performance by Tairon Aguilera and a spectacular fireworks show to close out the evening.
