Michael Bell is appointed to the position of chief executive officer of Hialeah Hospital. In this role, Bell will be responsible for overseeing all strategic, operational and clinical activities at Hialeah Hospital.

Prior to his appointment at Hialeah Hospital Bell was the chief operating officer of Tenet’s Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo, California, and Group COO for Northern California. He is a strong leader with a sharp focus and deep expertise in providing high quality, safe care. Michael has also served in a number of other leadership positions throughout his career both within and outside of Tenet, including roles at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, California, MedCath Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina and Tenet’s Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, California. Known as a relationship builder, he excels in medical staff and new program development as well as process improvement.
Bell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies from the University of Nebraska, Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary (Ohio) and a Master of Business Administration from Brenau University.
