Join us in-person for a variety of family friendly events this January!

South Florida PBS’s Art Loft, Commissioner, and New World School of the Arts invite you to The Front Room for the Premiere Screening of Art Loft’s Season 11, and a talk back with featured artists Friday, Loni Johnson, Vanta Black, and exhibition curator Zee Lopez Del Carmen. Join us at New World School of the Arts in Downtown Miami on Friday, January 20th at 6PM for an unforgettable evening in the gallery with live music and refreshments, followed by Art Loft’s screening premiere and artist talk under the stars in the garden.

Meet Miss Penny on Saturday, January 28th at the Local Author’s Fair at Miami-Dade Library! Miss Penny will be moderating their local children’s book author panel and be available for a meet and greet after the discussion.

Join South Florida PBS Saturday January 28th and Sunday January 29th at The International Kinetic Biennial Art Festival in Boynton Beach! The opening weekend includes indoor art exhibitions, artist and designer talks, student displays, turbine demonstrations, light projections, and choreographed motion performances with community volunteers.

Throughout the month of January, the Health Channel is equipping the community with facts about the sight-stealing disease, glaucoma. And stay up-to-date with the latest practical advice based on research to stay as healthy as possible by tuning in to Triple Threat: Flu, RSV, & COVID Town Hall. This one-hour conversation tackles increased cases of severe influenza, hospitalization to treat RSV infections, and the lingering effects of COVID-19.
