“Oscar Musibay is a tremendous addition to our growing team of office-focused real estate brokers,” Lee & Associates South Florida President Matthew Rotolante said. “He brings a valuable combination of market knowledge, relationships and entrepreneurial spirit. We will support his activities with the unmatched Lee & Associates South Florida platform and national referral network.”

Prior to joining Lee & Associates South Florida, Musibay was involved in site acquisition logistics for redevelopment of real estate properties at the Deering Companies, where he utilized his investigative and research skills to identify off-market opportunities. Before Deering, Musibay had an accomplished career as an award-winning real estate journalist, engaging with top commercial buyers, sellers, tenants and brokers in the market. He explained the region’s most important transactions to the public and the real estate industry, with office deals being a focus.

“I have known and admired the leadership of Lee & Associates South Florida for many years,” Musibay said. “The firm’s comprehensive platform was incredibly appealing as I considered this move. There might be cautiousness about the office sector’s outlook nationally, but here in South Florida we see ample opportunity from both a leasing and investment sales standpoint.”

Raised in South Florida, Musibay earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University. He currently resides in Miami Beach, is an avid runner and writer, and is deeply involved in the community. Musibay’s philanthropic efforts include engagement with organizations such as Miami Book Fair and the Little Haiti Book Festival.
