Who: Mexican American Council along with partners Miami Dade County Commissioner Kionne McGhee, Career Source South Florida, Community Health of South Florida, the Miami Marlins, and IMC Health Centers host annual fundraiser.
What: Annual Farmworker Student Scholarship Topgolf Tournament. In addition, the 2021 Living Hero Award will be presented to Dr. Dadilia Garces, epidemiologist and Miami Dade College Medical Campus professor. The Homestead-Miami Mariachi, under the direction of Mariachi Los Mora Arriaga, will perform to conclude the event.
When: Sunday, May 16, 2021. Registration 12:30 p.m. Living Hero presentation 3:00 p.m.
Where: Topgolf Doral, 11850 NW 22nd St., Doral, FL 33182
Why: The tournament will raise funds to support South Florida farmworker youth through scholarships, college programs, and support services.
