The Law Firm of Martinez Roman Goehl will host its inaugural charity golf tournament on October 28th at Shula’s Golf Club in Miami Lakes to benefit Chapman Partnership, Miami.
Chapman Partnership provides comprehensive programs and services in collaboration with others that empower its residents with dignity and respect to overcome homelessness and achieve and maintain long-term self-sufficiency.
“I became aware of Chapman Partnership Miami several years ago through Greater Miami RIMS. It is a residential and vocational transition home for homeless individuals and families. You are welcomed in and provided with food, shelter, and vocationally opportunities with the goal being to get you back on your feet and living on your own again. Chapman also has a wing for adolescents that provides educational programs during their stay along with periodic health and dental care amongst other offerings. It is a national model and extremely progressive in its approach,” said Charlie Martinez, Esquire, Managing Partner at Martinez Roman Goehl.
Martinez Roman Goehl is a team of workers’ compensation defense lawyers practicing in all 17 districts throughout Florida representing municipalities, public entities, and national corporations.
“We chose to help Chapman because not only does it help our neighbors when they are down but it assists them in getting back up and on with their lives. For what reason are we placed on this earth other than to help other people?” said Martinez.
Tournament registration opens at 11 a.m. The tournament will include lunch, goodie bags, scramble with a 12 p.m. shotgun start, silent auction with drinks, appetizers, and awards afterward.
