Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez has been sworn in as the President of the Miami Dade League of Cities, 2022-2023. Each year a new President is appointed based on their proven leadership and for their commitment to the residents of Miami Dade County.
“It’s truly an honor for me to be entrusted by my colleagues with this impactful role,” said Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez. “I look forward to continuing our efforts that champion the needs of our communities, especially advocating for home rule.”
The Miami Dade League of Cities is comprised of local elected officials that work together on several significant issues affecting the region as a whole. This partnership has been integral to many successes, including the efforts to ensure that cities received adequate federal funding during COVID-19.
