After several months of waiting, the New McDonald’s between 74th Street and 107 avenue was officially opened on December 12, 2015. The McDonalds mascot, Ronald Mcdonald the clown, was there to greet everyone and play with the children. The event had face painting, a jump house, a carousel, several slides and other exciting attractions that children were elated to play in. Members of the Ronald McDonald Charity house were also present in the event, promoting their tremendous cause of helping families with children sick with cancer.
There were several prizes that were raffled out and the event had a performance by the Dr Rolando Espinosa K-8 Center School Band.
