MyPark, the Miami-based parking solutions provider used by malls, private and public garages, and property management companies, is partnering with Simon’s Miami International Mall to debut an on-demand, mobile, premium self-parking service for shoppers and visitors.
The MyPark app provides guests with the ability to reserve a premium spot by the mall entrance prior to their arrival with the simple touch of a button. The expansion will feature a total of 16 new MyPark spaces at the mall in a key location within the property, including:
Miami International Mall
• Section A, 8 spaces – Food Court Entrance
• Section B, 4 spaces – LensCrafters Entrance
• Section C, 4 spaces – Old Navy Entrance
Spaces can be booked on demand or reserved in advance through the app, for $3 for up to two hours and $3 each additional hour. MyPark-trained attendants are on site through Jan. 11 to help customers download and navigate the app, and assist with any parking questions.
“Our launches in Miami were met with such enthusiasm, we knew we had to continue to expand and bring our distinctive parking solution to Miami International Mall,” said Luis Mayendia, CEO of MyPark. “We are bringing shoppers and visitors peace of mind, providing them with the most convenient and best shopping experience possible.”
This mall joins several other shopping centers in the U.S., including Dadeland Mall and The Falls, that have implemented the unique parking amenity for guests, by which shoppers can reserve a prime parking spot when and where they need it – directly from their smartphones. The solution eliminates the time and effort exerted driving up and down the parking aisles in search of an ideal spot near a desired store entrance.
Users can go to the usemypark.com website and click on the links to their respective app stores or download the app directly from the Android or iOS stores, register and tell the app where and when they would like to park.
Next they choose the section they want (the best spot is selected automatically by default) and confirm their reservation. Once users arrive at their reserved space, they simply tap “Let Me In” on their iOS or Android device and the unique MyPark reservation device will lower to give them access.
“We look forward to adding MyPark to our list of amenities for our guests,” said Sara Valega, Area Director of Marketing Miami International Mall. “As our mall continues to grow, we are confident that MyPark’s convenience, affordable parking choices, and ease of access will be a win for both guests and retailers.”
Free Trial Offer
To celebrate MyPark’s launch at Miami International Mall, the company is offering a free trial of the program for first time users through the use of promo code “MYPARK1” which can be entered upon downloading the app and registering. Users will be able to enjoy their entire first session free of charge.
