On Wednesday, June 23rd, the Doral Chamber, K1 Speed Miami, Miami’s Community Newspapers and Coral Gables Trust, hosted this event for members and other professional guests at K1 Speed Miami.
Along with lunch, refreshments and networking, the members and guests of the Doral Chamber were able to race each other on K1 Speed’s track.
Located in the City of Medley, K1 Speed is an
indoor Go-Kart Racing venue, managed by Gideon Horowitz, who welcomed Doral Chamber members and guests and helped to ensure a successful event.
The event’s primary function was professional networking. Members of the chamber met and networked with one another. However, the racing was an added bit of adventure, as the members engaged in fun, high speed competition.
In addition, the Mayor of Medley, Roberto Martell, attended the event and was given a special recognition of appreciation by Manny Sarmiento, President of the Doral Chamber of Commerce for having welcomed Doral Chamber members and guests to the city of Medley.
A special Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Miami’s Community Newspapers’ Grant Miller, Coral Gables Trust for Sponsoring the event and K1 Speed’s G.M. Gideon Horowitz for graciously hosting this amazing event.
